Over the years, the Shan GT has become the hardtail equivalent of a racing legend. It combines the precision of a rally car, the flexibility of a contortionist, and the speed of a cheetah, all wrapped up in a steel-framed beauty.
The Shan GT has undergone a complete geometry overhaul, much like a race car undergoing a sleek aerodynamic redesign. It now boasts a longer reach, a slacker head tube angle, and a straighter seat tube angle. It's like giving your bike the agility of a gazelle and the stability of a seasoned race car driver.
We've retained all the great features for which the GT is renowned, including our MCS custom tubing and the KTP+ flex system, providing exceptional grip and a compliant ride for an hardtail.
So, buckle up, hold on tight, and get ready for a thrilling ride that will leave you grinning from ear to ear. It's time to unleash your inner speed demon and show the trails who's boss!
SHAN GT is a 29" frame for 130mm to 150mm travel fork. Maximum tires width up to 2,4". SHAN GT is also compatible with 27,5+ wheels, with a 140 to 160mm travel fork. Tires up to 2.8/3" wide. An headset extension is available in the option to raise the BB if necessary.
UDH hanger kit available by April 2024.
The frame includes: seat clamp, headset, rear axle and chainstay protector.
Features
KTP FLEX SYSTEM
The defining characteristic of the SHAN GT is the grip and flex, thanks to the KTP flex system. KTP adds a special YOKE to increase the tire clearance and the vertical Flex. The result? Better comfort as well as more cornering and braking grip.
27,5" + WHEEL COMPATIBILITY
SHAN GT is compatible with both 29" and 27,5+ wheels. It's designed for a 130 to 150mm fork with 29” wheels and 140-160mm fork with 27.5+ wheels and a maximum of 2.4" or 2.8" tires wideness respectively.
Please note that in plus configuration, an extension headset is advised with a 150mm travel fork.
STEALTH ROUTING
The SHAN GT has a stealth routing for the seat post where you can neatly guide your dropper post cable out of sight. Going up or down, now you can use the latest dropper posts on the market.
ICONIC INSPIRATION
The SHAN GT is painted in Andorra, inspired by the most iconic sports car of all time.

Does the Shan GT still have a wild side? Well simply put, yes it does! … the Production Privee Shan GT is a hooligan hardtail, which will happily descend with the best of them one day, take you on a cross country mile munching epic the next, and get you on the podium of an enduro at the weekend. —— Andi Sykes, Singletrack |
